Mystic Marathon : Williams 1984   Purchased 10/14/2003

Comments:

Didn't expect to see this one in the local classifieds.  As you can see, this machine was a Stargate prior to being converted to a Mystic Marathon.  The cab is very solid, and all the conversion parts (minus the side art of course) are in amazing condition.

Thought some of you might like to see some more detailed pics of the Mystic Marathon.  As you can see, when I got the game it was a little bit dirty

Sure cleaned up nice though.  Check out the difference half way through

Here is the control panel all cleaned up.  Amazing what a few minutes of elbow grease and Greased Lighting will do

Marquee and monitor bezel are in fantastic shape as well.

The board is mounted on a metal plate in the middle of the cab.  If Stargate is anything like my other Williams games, the boards were mounted on the inside of the back door prior to the conversion

the power supply is mounted on the other side of the metal mounting plate just inside the coin door.

The wiring harness for MM is different than the other Williams games.  As you can see, the cab is dry as a bone inside and out.  It is a shame the original sideart was painted over.  It looks like the game was in very nice shape at the time of the conversion.

Looks like I got to these batteries just in time.  Phew!

MM has one of the nicest marquees I have seen.  Looks especially nice with the lights out.
